Leprosy : Self-Sufficiency

We are taking care of over 713 leprosy patients along with their dependents. They are staying in three leper colonies namely Jeera, Jamurda and Ruhunia. The members of Jeera and Jamurda colony are hard working and they earn their livelihood better than some of the village people. Agriculture, goat rearing, and cycle rickshaws are the main source of income. Few of them still go begging especially on big feasts when the devotees are more generous! We haveestablished a revolving fund for them which ismade available with minimum interest.
